SNORING THERAPY
Snoring is not just unpleasant, it can also be dangerous. There are many possible causes. A soft palate in the mouth, alcohol consumption and overeating – all this and more can lead to "nighttime sawing". These loud snoring noises are very disturbing for your partner – their sleep is disturbed and in the medium term this also leads to stress for those around you. However, snoring is also dangerous for the snorer himself, especially when it comes to nocturnal breathing pauses. This phenomenon is called sleep apnoea syndrome, and it greatly increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases and strokes. You can read more about this below.
Snoring therapy begins with a detailed examination of the nose, mouth and larynx. It is usually sufficient for us to study the airways in detail while awake in order to locate the constrictions that cause the annoying noise.
